Ultra Vel Tough Orthopedic Dog Bed Featuring Cordura®
Ultra Vel Orthopedic beds offer uncompromising luxury and outstanding performance. These feature an incredibly soft, breathable, and extremely comfortable top cover. Made from 100% breathable polyester fibers, it resists dirt, odor, mildew, stains, and is machine washable. The sides and bottom portions are composed of Cordura® fabric which is commonly used in military applications for its durability. Ultra Vel orthopedic beds are triple-stitched for added strength. We are the only dog bed company that uses a true triple-stitched seam for incredible strength. This bed is rugged and durable on one hand, and comfortable and soft on the other. They are easy to clean and are resistant to dirt, odor, mildew, and bacteria. Most messes and dirt can be wiped down with a damp cloth, but the cover and liner can also be washed when necessary. .
Orthopedic Mattress Options
Ultra Vel Orthopedic dog beds are composed of an all-American high-quality certified mattress. We use different densities by size to support the weight of any dog. All of our Orthopedic dog beds feature CoolTek™ technology that keeps your dog cool and allows air to pass through. We offer two mattress choices in our orthopedic line of beds. The first option is a 5″ tall, high-quality, and dense orthopedic mattress. The second option is our memory foam mattress which is composed of a dense 4″ tall base that is then bonded to a 1″ tall high-end memory foam. Our patented CoolTek™ gel infused memory foam mattress conforms to your dog’s shape, minimizes pressure on joints, helps circulation, and cradles your dog for ultimate comfort and sleep quality. Our CoolTek™ gel keeps your dog cool and comfortable. Both mattresses are extremely comfortable, supportive, and durable and carry a lifetime won’t flatten guarantee.

Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam mattresses and crate pads are NOT. Orthopedic mattresses should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately and not with other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Liners should be washed unzipped and open to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum can also be used.

Before rating the bed itself I would like to express how helpful and friendly the customer service staff are at Gorilla Dog Beds. They really helped me make the right decision for my dog. The bed is amazing and although to early to see major changes I can see that my dog who is recovering from acl surgery 2 weeks ago is loving her bed and doesn’t like having anyone on it with her because it so awesome for her. She is happier and the bed has really made all of the difference.

We bought 2 of these beds and 2 crate pads a couple of years ago, we are very pleased. I wash and dry the covers and they still look new. Our dogs scratch on them all the time with no damage, they are very well made.

For once a XXL dog bed was XXL. This bed actually scared me once it fully inflated and got to the size of a twin mattress. Having a 170lb dog (Beagle Mastif) I’m used to being disappointed in tiny XXLs. Not only was this bed adequate size for him to stretch out but my other two dogs can fit on it with him. (Pit) and (German Sheperd). I’m glad they can fit on it because they keep trying to steal his bed. Both of them have been happy with the beds they’ve had for years until this new bed and I can’t keep them off it. After waiting 24hrs the dog bed was firm but also soft, it rates up there with my Sealy Hybrid Cooling Mattress, to the point I’m debating buying one for myself for those over nighters at work. Was skeptical at first ordering it, due to it being cheaper than other brands but am beyond happy with the purchase. Will definitely be keeping this company for all my dog bed needs.

My German Shepard Max destroyed every previous bed I got him. That said, the cost of the Gorilla bed seemed a bit much. I thought I’d use a Gorilla dog bed cover as a test run to see if it held up, I have plenty of stuffing from the 3 previous beds. 1 month later and already I’m sold!!! We rescue old dogs and have purchased several beds from Gorilla Dog Beds. Our most recent rescue is a large St. Bernard that is beginning to have some joint and back pain.
