Gorilla Tough Orthopedic Dog Crate Pad ( Army Tough Fabric!)
If your dog spends any time in a crate – and especially if they spend lots of time in there – your choice of crate pad becomes an investment of critical importance to both you and your dog.
Our Cordura® kennel and crate pads are extremely tough and have a proprietary backed coating which makes them water-resistant and great for outdoor use. The US armed forces use Cordura® in many different applications primarily because of its extreme durability, abrasion, and puncture resistance.
We manufacture these using a military-grade Velcro enclosure on the underside as well as a 268lb pull-strength zipper that keeps your dog from penetrating the foam. All our seams are triple-stitched to ensure the toughest kennel pad on the market. We also included a tie-down system that keeps your dog from flipping the pad over inside the kennel. All our crate and kennel pads come with a waterproof liner that is the best in the industry. Most messes and dirt can be wiped down with a damp cloth, but the cover and liner can also be washed when necessary. The foam pad is not washable.
Cordura® Tough kennel and crate pads are composed of American-made, high-quality 2.5″ certified foam that gently conforms to your dog’s shape while supporting your dog in the most comfortable way possible.

Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam mattresses and crate pads are NOT. Orthopedic mattresses should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately and not with other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Liners should be washed unzipped and open to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum can also be used.

We just got our crate pad today and our dog who hates his kennel due to terrible separation anxiety…. actually has been laying on the crate pad INSIDE his kennel all day so far. I can tell he finds it very comfortable. We are yet to find out if he can manage to destroy it but I am so happy he is in the kennel, at his own will.

I got the crate bed for my German Shepherd and she and I both love it. We got her when she was ten months old and she managed to destroy four crate bed, two comforter, and two blankets in the first month we had her. She slept on the plastic crate tray for about a week until I received the Gorilla bed. It is so sturdy she has not been able to chew it up or tear it apart! But aside from that, she enjoys sleeping on it! She now goes in to her crate willingly.

Our dogs have been tearing apart their beds when they are left alone. After two weeks there are no holes or problems with this one. My large dog recently had a patch of diarrhea in her crate all over the bed… it cleaned up easily and looks like new. Definitely recommend

I have a 9 mos old corgi and she loves to chew. She’s an aggressive chewer and beds, crate pads and toys usually only last a day (if lucky) before she’s chewing at it. I looked around and found the Gorilla Dog Beds and thought I give it a try. Even though the cost is a little high, after replacing a few $20-30 dollar beds/pads I realized you get what you pay for. I received the Gorilla Crate Pad and after assembly I laid it on the floor and introduced it to Cary the Corgi. She immediately started chewing and pulling on it. I let her go for 30 mins before putting it in her crate. After the first thirty minutes she hadn’t even left a scratch on it. While installing it in her crate she continued to pull at it. I installed it with the pan in the bottom of the crate, but that exposed the velcro tie down straps and she immediately went after them. Although she didn’t damage the tie down straps, I removed the pan and installed the pad directly in the crate and could hide the tie down straps below the pad. Carly immediately started trying to flip the pad, attempted to chew on the pad, and did the digging routine with no success. She finally gave up and laid down. I’m impressed and hope to get a long life out of the Gorilla Crate Pad. By the way, have you guys though of making dog toys?
