Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. It’s a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

We recently adopted a 1-year-old Husky-mix from a local rescue and she has a lot of puppy in her with a love for chewing “all the things.” The Gorilla Ballistic Tough Dog Crate Pad has been wonderful, the tie downs for the crate are an exceptionally nice touch that limits her ability to get under it so she can’t engage in any extra-curricular chewing. I’ll admit I was skeptical of its durability and a bit of a scrooge about spending the extra money, but it’s been worth it for my peace of mind and her comfort.

Our dog is only in his kennel twice a day for about 2 hours. He has as bent up the bars of his kennel and wiggled his way out of the openings but the create pad is still completely intact!! I hope it remains that way now that we have secured to bars so he can no longer get out.

I have a German shepherd, with a history of destroying her plastic crate trays (so we had to purchase a metal one), a history of destroying any crate pads purchased in two days, and a history of ripping apart the zippers and then pulling into the crate any and all crate covers I’ve tried. Until now. I previously purchased from Amazon, Petco, PetSmart- and this is the only one that’s held up. It’s been over 30 days, and all she’s managed is a small hole in the crate pad- no damage to the cover- and has otherwise not been able to damage anything further. If you’re on the fence because it’s expensive, I spent way more money constantly replacing covers, trays and pads than I did buying both a cover and pad from here. Get it, it’s worth it.

This crate pad is pretty great! I have a 5 month old Doberman pup and while she’s not a seriously terrible chewer, she has destroyed some toys and other items so I wanted a crate pad that would hold up should she try to chew on it. So far, so good. I love the corner straps to tie it down in place. She sometimes try’s to “dig” and if she got the corner pulled up I think it would be game over. Very easy to wipe down and keep clean. Usually never has any messes but one night of eating different dog food gave her very runny poops. It was a disgusting mess. I had to take everything outside to hose off. The waterproof outer lining was great for that. The inside pad stayed dry! My only small gripe is that the outer cover is so difficult for me to get on and off over the thick orthopedic pad. VERY tight fit. But it keeps the wrinkles out and nothing for a dog to hook their teeth into. So I guess I wouldn’t change it. Have had this pad for over a month now. She is crated while we are at work and at bedtime…until she is old enough to be trusted…that might be 2 years.. hoping this pad will last a long time. Super happy so far. This new Gorilla dog bed is about the only item in my house that my 8 month old pittie mix puppy has not tried to chew. I watch her like a hawk and play interference and diversion so nothing has been destroyed. When she is in her crate, I can relax. She plays with her other chew toys and does not bother the crate pad. The pad is firm, thick yet gives to her 45 pound weight and she is very comfortable on it. Thank you Gorilla dog beds for making such a great product. I have you to thank for helping me get through this puppy stage with most of my mind intact!!
