Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. It’s a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

I’ve tried several dog beds over the years with several aggressive chewers, and no bed has stood up so well as the Gorilla Ballistic kennel and crate pad. Currently we have a 3.5 year old Husky with severe hip dysplasia. We adopted him 2 years ago under the belief he was hit by a car and would need surgery. The orthopedic surgeon said based on radiographs Sirius has severe hip dysplasia and surgery wasn’t needed at the time. We have tried several types of dog beds only for him to chew off and ingest pieces, so he’s been laying on a bare bottom crate (no plastic pan either…). Sirius has started showing some discomfort in the past few months, so it really became a priority to find him a bed that could withstand his chewing and digging tendencies. I was certain I just bought another expensive 5-minute-and-done bed, but Sirius’s Gorilla Ballistic kennel and crate pad has lasted over a week now!! He digs at this bed in attempts to fluff it, which it doesn’t, and he hasn’t punctured or torn the cover… yet, anyway! It does show superficial scratch marks, but all the material is still intact. And I often find him in his crate when he has the option to lay anywhere he wants. That is amazing! I am so impressed I purchased a second one for our 14 month old Husky, who also likes to chew up dog beds. I am a CVT at a veterinary hospital and it is so refreshing to be able to recommend this bed with confidence. Oh, and the hair- it just wipes or blows right off! Another bonus being a household of 3 Huskies and 4 cats! If you look near his elbow you can see where he digs, and no damage!

First, let me say, I rarely write reviews. But we are so pleased with our Gorilla crate pad I have to recommend it. We have a 7 month old Doberman puppy who is part goat. He chews and eats everything and anything. He is especially fond of destroying dog beds. He had destroyed 4 different crate pads and we had been making him sleep on the bare tray of his crate for a month before I found Gorilla dog beds online. I read the reviews that they were “chew proof”, but I was still skeptical. When the bed arrived we were very impressed with how well it was made. The crate straps secure the bed very firmly, which keeps him from lifting up the corners to chew. He has slept on it for almost 3 weeks now and has not managed to chew on it or damage it at all. We are thrilled and our dog is happy that he has a comfortable place to sleep again. He now goes into his crate to nap on his own.

I cannot complement Gorilla enough about dealing with them over the phone, the updates on the production and delivery of the bed. All are top notch The bed is well constructed from quality material It took my dog two days to chew a corner off the bed. My dog was totally at fault. She is a chewer who is mellowing with age. She is just a year old I am waiting for the warranty replacement to arrive. Now all I have to do is figure a way of stopping her from chewing the new one. Going to try bitter apple first.

My dogs have torn up every bed or blanket we have ever put in their kennels. Every. Single. One. I regret spending so much on store bought beds; what I spent on those could have easily paid for 2/3 of what I paid for the Gorilla beds. Our Boykin Spaniel can chew up almost anything in his path. We have been leaving him in his kennel when we are not home and the Gorilla bed has survived! It even survived during a mass chewing of a yoga mat that we put under the kennel to keep the wood floor from getting scratched. So far so good …. he hasn’t chewed it a bit! It’s a sturdy and durable. We have a 5 month old German Shepard puppy who has chewed everything so far. The number one best thing is the Velcro straps that hold it down, they are key!! Bodhi loves it!
