Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. It’s a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

I have 2 corgis both are chewers, scratchers and downright destructive when it comes to crate beds. I ordered my second gorilla bed after getting a new crate for my 80lb pup, so this should already tell you what you need to know about these beds. But this company is so much more than that! I measured the new crate (custom built) and realized that none of the standard size beds would work, but then I saw an option to customize a bed! I filled out the form on a Saturday night assuming I would hear back from them Monday or Tuesday… Nope! Within an hour they sent me information on how much it would cost and sent an invoice with a link to officially order, should I want to move forward. I had a few more questions and the response time remained as quick as the initial request…again, ON THE WEEKEND! I’m pretty sure my item was about ready to ship around the time I expected to hear back from them and I couldn’t be happier with the custom bed!

I ordered a custom size for my German Shepherd’s Rock Creek Kennel. It fit perfectly and has stood up to repeated attempts of destruction. As Gorilla Beds suggests, I anchored the corners with zip ties so the bed cannot be pulled up. It is withstanding my mega-chewing puppy! Thank you Gorilla Beds!

For the price, we thought the pad would be made of better material. Our disappointment may be from our interpretation of the pad description and maybe we should have selected a different Gorilla bed. It is supportive and good for our puppy, we just will want something with a bit more cushion for later years. I believe the cover will stand the test of time, but it’s loud when our year old GSD repositions on it during the night. Not when he rolls over, but from his nails when he scratches or stands up of reposition. I will likely purchase a Mammoth bed once our dog reaches 2 years old for more comfort. We also had a chew proof cover for it. We tried Gorilla as our super chewer puppy tore up our 13 year old Mammoth bed, but the fabric cover, which I could have replaced, was pretty worn by our previous 13 year old GSD. Upside to that bed was it was our previous GSDs lifetime bed. That said I do think the Gorilla bed will serve its purpose and save our puppy from potentially becoming ill from eating his crate pad. We will also be able to keep this pad for future puppies. A perfect fit for our large crate, we would recommend others consider it and our dog seems to be happy with it.
