We saw instant results with these treats. Our sheltie is deaf and suffers from a form of canine autism. She would awaken several times at night, barking and spinning and only my husband laying down with her would calm her down. It was becoming unbearable. We used another product (Anxitane) to calm her with limited success and tried these treats as a last resort. We gave her 1/4 treat at bedtime. Literally from the first night she has slept through the night. The one night we missed, she was right back to the spinning and barking. I cannot tell you how thankful we are to have found Dog Daze.

My dog has issues at night. She was taking trezadone to keep her calm, but they gave her bad tummy aches. I started giving her 1/2 treat (she weighs 70 lbs) when she goes in her crate at about 10 pm and she sleeps until the alarm goes off at 5:00 On New Years I gave her 1 treat due to the fireworks and she was calm and not shaking. I have a 75 lb lab who is very anxious and has separation anxiety. I have been giving her trazadone, but don’t feel good about the constant medication for her at night. I was always of the mind that exercise is the best way to relax an energetic young dog; and I still mostly hold that belief — to a point. These chews have honestly changed my mind about using CBD with our very excited whoodle. We tried the sample pack that came with her upgraded “big girl” crate pad recently and we noticed how much calmer — yet still herself — she seemed. We thought it was a fluke. Since there were 4 treats in the sample bag, we tried them at random times and, each time, the same result. A relaxed, happier, less anxious pup — able to rest undisturbed by the frequent honks and sirens going by in the big city outside our apartment. I decided to buy a bag of the treats just in case we could use them in the future and, again, to see if this was just a four time fluke. Fast forward to our pup getting aspiration pneumonia and being put on house arrest for 2 weeks and we didn’t know what we were going to do without her being able to run around and get her boundless energy out of her 15-month old body. Our vet gave us some trazodone for her but it only made her strange and — dare I say — more hyper??? We decided to try giving her one of the CBD treats to help ease her cabin fever. The CBD, along with a nice chew session of a tendon, completely calmed her within an hour. She stopped needing to release her pent up energy “wheaten greetins” for every single person and dog, and instead, was able to redirect her energy and attention onto us and what she needed most to heal: rest. I have been so impressed with these treats and I’m a true believer in them now. We will be using them for our girl going forward when she needs a little extra help to stay calm during times of forced rest due to illness or injury, and in those moments when she just needs to relax a little more.
