Gorilla Tough Orthopedic Dog Crate Pad ( Army Tough Fabric!)
If your dog spends any time in a crate – and especially if they spend lots of time in there – your choice of crate pad becomes an investment of critical importance to both you and your dog.
Our Cordura® kennel and crate pads are extremely tough and have a proprietary backed coating which makes them water-resistant and great for outdoor use. The US armed forces use Cordura® in many different applications primarily because of its extreme durability, abrasion, and puncture resistance.
We manufacture these using a military-grade Velcro enclosure on the underside as well as a 268lb pull-strength zipper that keeps your dog from penetrating the foam. All our seams are triple-stitched to ensure the toughest kennel pad on the market. We also included a tie-down system that keeps your dog from flipping the pad over inside the kennel. All our crate and kennel pads come with a waterproof liner that is the best in the industry. Most messes and dirt can be wiped down with a damp cloth, but the cover and liner can also be washed when necessary. The foam pad is not washable.
Cordura® Tough kennel and crate pads are composed of American-made, high-quality 2.5″ certified foam that gently conforms to your dog’s shape while supporting your dog in the most comfortable way possible.

Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam mattresses and crate pads are NOT. Orthopedic mattresses should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately and not with other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Liners should be washed unzipped and open to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum can also be used.

Very durable and worth the money

My puppy is still very small, but so far he hasn’t breached the cover either through scratching or chewing. The only downside is that the width of the pad is about 2 inches narrower than my crate. This allows chew bones or treats to fall into the crack, driving the pup to try to dig them out. Becomes annoying enough to have to get it out for them. But the pad does as advertised so far, providing a safe, comfortable addition for the crate.

I purchased a Gorilla Dog Bed after my 1 year old started chewing his regular bed. I wanted something that would survive a strong chewer. I haven’t been disappointed. Now when he jumps on his bed I don’t have to fret. There are no loose edges for him to pick on. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and it has been perfect. The quality is good and it shipped as expected. I also have a crate cover and bed from Gorilla and they are still in pristine condition.

Have had this bed now for a couple, maybe even three weeks. My border collie puppy, who normally shredded ANY type of bedding, EVEN simple blankets, has not put ONE mark on this one as of yet. So, thinking it is pretty good quality. As it is in her kennel where she sleeps, and therefore not under total surveillance. Glad i purchased it. Was worth the money so far…

Still in great shape after a month. Normally within a week, our two bully mixes have their crate pad destroyed. Really like that it has velcro straps to secure it, around the edges.

My mini Goldendoodle puppy is not very destructive, but decided to rip the stuffing out of her old crate pad while my husband & I were working one day. I bought the crate mat from Gorilla Dog Beds & she does not even try to tear it. It fits in her crate perfectly & she seems to like it. Sometimes I pull it out of the crate & put it on the floor & she will lay on it & play with her toys. I don’t think we will ever have to buy another crate pad again as this is very durable & there seems to be nothing for her to grab on to. Thanks for a great product!!!!

My dog loves her crate. She hangs out in it when she needs a break from the family. The construction of the bed is excellent although the material can be a little loud when she’s moving around. Solved it though by putting a towel over the cover.
