Although all our dog beds and kennel pads are composed of the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement cover free of charge. The warranty is a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product purchased. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog to ensure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
To process a warranty claim, create an account on our website. In the top left corner, click on the ‘My Account’ icon. There will be a tab on the left side of the screen that says ‘Warranty Claim.’ Click on the tab and complete the form to submit your warranty request.

Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

This bed is definitely chew proof. I love the zipper on the back where it’s not accessible to the dog, and there’s Velcro hiding the zipper which really prevents them from tearing it up. I have four of them now! Only thing I wish it had was an anti-skid bottom as they do slide around in the crate or tile.

I followed the directions, fastened the pad to his crate, and he hasn’t even attempted to chew it. I left his blankets in the crate, and he’s arranged them as a bumper to the wire, and he lies all curled up in the middle on the pad. I wish I’d done this sooner.

I recently purchased a Gorilla Dog Bed, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and design. One of my favorite features is the built-in straps, which keep the bed securely in place—my dog loves to dig and move her bed around, but with these straps, she can’t lift it up (those treats that use to fall under her old mat = tearing it up) The thick, supportive padding makes it incredibly comfortable for her, giving her a cozy place to rest while also providing the durability I was looking for. It’s clear that this bed is well-made, with strong stitching and heavy-duty materials that hold up to daily use.

Durable and exceptional quality. Love the rainbow stitching. Only dog bed we’ve found that is chew proof. Keep up the fantastic design and engineering work!

Over the years I have tried many beds for my aggressive chewer. He actually likes bitter apple so that didn’t work either. Finally, found this bed and was optimistically cautious, but since I could return in 125 days I thot I’d give it a try. First of all, Hamlet absolutely loves the comfort. Second, he did try to chew on the corner, and when he realized he wasn’t getting anywhere has since given up. It’s been 2 weeks and no chewing. Fingers crossed this works. I really hated that he was in his crate without any padding or bed. Blankets never lasted 10 minutes. I’ve recommended this to a few friends and they are going to try it.

Our Portuguese Podengo Medio is a voracious chewer. I took a chance and ordered a crate pad. We have only had it for a few weeks but I have not seen any damage to it. The loops are a bit hard to install, especially if you leave the crate pan in the crate but they are quite effective. I have not tried it loose in the airplane style crate (bivalve plastic) as there is no way to tie it down. I might have to order a bed as well. I usually don’t have a towel on top of it as she chews towels but I just gave her her first dose of flea/tick topical and didn’t want to “slime” the crate pad. Hopefully, the towel survives the night.

I was on my third cage mat for my French Bulldog and the old ones had been torn apart within 2 days. The mat I purchased from Gorilla has exceeded my expectations and has remained intact and tear free for a month now. I think Ace ( my dog ) has surrendered to the fact that he cannot tear this mat up. Great product and I’ll use it again if it ever become necessary. 5 stars

I adopted a shepherd mix in early December. She immediately destroyed 3 different pricy and supposedly durable crate mats. She is 10 months old and is like a baby Landshark with the chewing. I was a little hesitant to try this bed due to the price and her destructive tendencies, but I’m so glad I did. It’s been 3 weeks and looks as good as it did on day one. I followed the suggestion to attach directly to the crate without using the plastic tray and so far so good!
