Orthopedic Mattress Options
Gorilla Ballistic Orthopedic dog beds are composed of an all-American high-quality certified mattress. We use different densities by size to support the weight of any dog. All of our Orthopedic dog beds feature CoolTek™ technology that keeps your dog cool and allows air to pass through. We offer two mattress choices in our orthopedic line of beds. The first option is a 5″ tall, high-quality, and dense orthopedic mattress. The second option is our memory foam mattress which is composed of a dense 4″ tall base that is then bonded to a 1″ tall high-end memory foam. Our patented CoolTek™ gel infused memory foam mattress conforms to your dog’s shape, minimizes pressure on joints, helps circulation, and cradles your dog for ultimate comfort and sleep quality. Our CoolTek™ gel keeps your dog cool and comfortable. Both mattresses are extremely comfortable, supportive, and durable and carry a lifetime won’t flatten guarantee.

Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog to ensure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended. Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

Our dog has separation anxiety and will chew up dog beds when we leave him at home. Nothing else, just dog beds. I bought this bed in hopes that it’s tough enough for him when his people are gone. So far, so good. I read a few reviews where dogs wouldn’t lay on the bed and experienced the same issue for the first few days. I put a blanket on top and voilà, no problems. Both dogs like the bed, and nothing is getting chewed. We’re all happy campers.

We were greatly impressed with the quality of this bed. Our new foster dog has chewed through several beds most of them within the first day of buying them. However, since we bought this bed several weeks ago there has been no chew damage to the bed whatsoever!! Overall, it is a good size, he seems to like sleeping on it, and the material is comfortable for him and so far appears to be virtually indestructible to our chew-friendly dog. My dog isn’t really an aggressive chewer, but he is a relentless scratcher and digger. Then once he’s able to get the cover off, the cushion soon gets ripped to shreds. I really didn’t think ANY bed would last. I figured out that a strong cover without a zipper is the key! Sure, it took A LOT of work to get the cushion IN the cover but I realized that’s probably why the bed has lasted! Great product! I wish I had bought it sooner.

This is the second Gorilla bed that we have bought. The covers on these things are super tough. My chewing lab has not managed to do any damage to either of them. The orthopedic bed supports a lot of weight before it starts to compress.

I was looking for a really good dog bed that is very tuff. Then when I was looking online I found GORILLA dog beds. We have a very large Doberman and he likes to eat things like blankets, socks and hot pads. So far the bed is doing very well and the dog seems to love it. Has not chewed on it yet. We do throw a blanket in with him, so I think that helps to keep him from chewing on the GORILLA bed. It does seem to be very strong. Our dog has very high anxiety issue. I would definitely buy another GORILLA bed.
