Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. It’s a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

It’s the first dog bed that has lasted more than 48 hours. Granted, prior to this we were using rugs, and our puppy was just tearing them to pieces (as puppies do). Now going on 3 weeks and still not a scratch on the Gorilla Ballistic. My wife was initially somewhat put off by the price (the cost of something like this vs. a $19 rug), but now that nothing is being shredded anymore, absolutely no regrets at all! Would buy it again, and again, and again, and again…

I gave 4 stars as she chewed the corner (and 1 tie down) on day 3. But so far only the corner. I back stitched over the chew spot to tack it down and sprayed the entire bed heavily with “Bitter Yuk” and so far she has left it alone. I think she will leave it alone until the day she decides to go for it but she has orthopedic issues and needs some padding to lay on. (She has previously chewed a bed made of Kevlar!) The Gorilla bed has outlasted other beds so for us, it was worth it.

Our 11-month-old, 50 lb Boxer/Rottie/Great Pyr/Bulldog/Chow/Mystery Mutt is a fur-covered chipper-shredder-&-backhoe in one. After shredding every cushiony thing we provided for her crate, we took the plunge and bought a Gorilla Ballistic pad that fits her crate perfectly. She was leery at first; its heavy ridged fabric makes more noise than a folded-up comforter or throw. But soon she was merrily digging away on it, causing absolutely zero damage! (It was pretty funny watching her. She was so puzzled!) She couldn’t get a good enough grip on the corners to chew on it either because it attaches so securely to the floor of the crate. After a couple of days she gave up trying to rip or un-stuff it. Now she sleeps later in the morning than she did before. Yaay! 👉 Worth. The. Money. 🏆🐕 Thank you, you lovely Gorillas!

I have a mastiff/boxer mix that has destroyed every bed we have purchased for her. We have used blankets and sheets in her kennel, and those get shredded too. Her paws and claws are huge and can do damage. She scratches this bed everyday, and there is zero damage. We did use the tie downs as instructed and think this made a huge difference. since this has held up so well, we are considering the orthopedic bed for outside the kennel.

I really like the bed and so far my German Shepherd has not destroyed it, though she has chewed off one of the straps. I do wish the straps went all the way around the bed, because she was able to lift up the front even with the straps on the sides and back securely strapped down she still managed to get to the one strap and chew it off. I measured the crate at 48″ x 30 ” and thought that I had ordered 48″x28″ but when the bed came if was more like 44×28. I think that is why she could lift up the front. Otherwise a great bed

So far, So good! Our Schnoodle is QUITE the chewer. This is the third bed and I think that because it is tied down, helps tremendously!!! Fingers still crossed! Ha

Product was shipped promptly. It is a very well constructed pad that will outlast anything I have purchased before. My 8 month old Lab who is crated at night, has managed to open a small hole in the corner but I believe she has been discouraged by not getting any results from her digging at night. I have not yet addressed my condition with the company over this small hole with their warranty. I am hopeful the Ballistic Pad has broken my Lab’s desire to disembowel her means of comfort.
