Orthopedic Mattress Options
Gorilla Ballistic Orthopedic dog beds are composed of an all-American high-quality certified mattress. We use different densities by size to support the weight of any dog. All of our Orthopedic dog beds feature CoolTek™ technology that keeps your dog cool and allows air to pass through. We offer two mattress choices in our orthopedic line of beds. The first option is a 5″ tall, high-quality, and dense orthopedic mattress. The second option is our memory foam mattress which is composed of a dense 4″ tall base that is then bonded to a 1″ tall high-end memory foam. Our patented CoolTek™ gel infused memory foam mattress conforms to your dog’s shape, minimizes pressure on joints, helps circulation, and cradles your dog for ultimate comfort and sleep quality. Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog to ensure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended. Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

We had a Great Dane and a Mini Golden Doodle. When they stayed at the kennal the beds were destroyed. We purchased our first Gorilla Bed about 4 years ago. Haven’t lost a bed since. When our nine year old granddaughter spends the night with us she loves to keep on the dog bed. We lost the Great Dane about 2 years ago. We have a smaller Gorilla Bed for the Doodle. We found out he was the one chewing up the beds. Caught him on one of our security cameras. Seems to have grown out of that habit. Both beds are memory foam.

My doberman chewed up 3 beds within 30 days of adopting him. After doing a bunch of research, I found the Gorilla Ballistic Tough bed and bought it because of the guarantee you offer. Since it arrived, my dog has shown zero interest in chewing it up and has adopted it as his new home base in the living room. The outer fabric has withstood him nesting and trying to dig/bury stuff into it repeatedly. The only missing feature is a bolster to lay his head on or sides that make him feel protected, so I hope that will be an option in future designs. That said, will likely purchase another when his bed in my office bites the dust, and will recommend Gorilla Ballistic to friends and fellow dobie parents.

I don’t like giving low stars so I’m only deducting one because my 25 pound 8 month old corgi chewed through the corner the second day he had it. Not worried about replacing it with the warranty because he also tore up the actual mattress as well. The quality of the stitching and material used was great though! My dog is just learning still and was able to chew right through with his sharp puppy teeth. If your dog is going through the chewing stage, and is able to tear stuff up pretty good, I don’t recommend the bed yet for them due to the price and possibility of it getting chewed so much. I believe the warranty only covers the actual exterior cover for the orthopedic pad and not the pad. So you’d get the cover for free, but would have to pay more for a new pad even though your dog could still go through it.
