Gorilla Ballistic 125-day Replacement Warranty
Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew-proof warranty is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed cover free of charge. It’s a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. Please note, embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day chew warranty. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover. If your dog has a history of destroying and possibly ingesting objects, supervision is recommended.
Embroidery is NOT covered under the 125-day Chew Proof Warranty.
Washing & Maintenance Instructions
All Gorilla Dog Bed covers, kennel covers, and liners are machine washable. Our nesting poly-fill mattresses are also washable, but all our foam orthopedic mattresses are NOT. Orthopedic beds should be exposed to fresh air when needed. Our covers and liners should be washed separately from any other laundry. Close the Velcro cover completely before washing. Wash in cold water and a delicate cycle. Wash liners unzipped and opened to allow air to escape. We do not recommend heat drying for any of our products. Air drying will ensure the longevity of the covers and liners. For easy cleaning and spot treatment, use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off stains, dirt, or hair. An upholstery attachment for your vacuum is also useful.

Our year old German Shepherd is a chewing machine. He was on a mission to tear up any cushion we put in his crate. In exasperation I combed the internet to find a solution. Enter the Gorilla Beds website. It seemed to have the solution-a crate pad made of ballistic material. Pricey yes, but I knew if this didn’t work he would be sleeping in the crate without any cushion as I wasn’t going to continue this exercise. There was 125 day guarantee so I figured I’d have nothing to lose. All the reviews supported my decision. Measured my crate and was really disappointed to find that my crate was a very odd size. A quick note to customer service let me know that they would make it to my specific size-no problem. The product arrived in less than a week. The dog had been sleeping in the crate that whole time without a pad. He is very smart so I didn’t let him see how I put it in . It fit perfectly. I then let him in and he went right in, sniffed it and laid down -seemingly grateful for something soft. I thought my troubles were over. The next morning I realized he had managed to get to one of the straps and chewed halfway through it. Installer error I thought. Tried again and the little jerk kept trying to get to it. This time I really tightened it up and sprayed bitter apple on each of the straps. Almost a month now and he has left it alone!!! The product, the customer service, the whole experience is fantastic! If you’re an exasperated dog owner reading this, I suggest you give this crate pad a try. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

Granted I started my anxious dog on some medication at the same time, this is the first bed my dog hasn’t destroyed in the first day of using. The material is strong and the straps keep the mat down making it hard to get his teeth on. He has since relaxed and enjoys the memory foam while napping.

I came across Gorilla Beds entirely by accident while googling for heavy duty orthopedic crate bed options. Perhaps it was fate smiling on us! We have an odd sized crate, and standard offerings on the market won’t fit properly. We found out recently that our two year old German Shepherd mix Reina has mild/moderate hip dysplasia on both sides, so I wanted to be proactive–joint supplementation and making sure she has a very supportive bed for those occasions where she’s crated. It also needed to hold up to her “digging” (or in her mind “fluffing”) the bed, as well as offer some water/mess proof protection just in case. My email inquiring about custom sizes was promptly answered, I was able to request the finish size I needed during checkout, and the product arrived quickly even with my deviation from standard sizing. The cover is very heavy duty and durable. So far, it laughs in the face of Reina’s scratching. She finds it very, very comfortable. So does our new puppy, Gunther. So does our 16 year old cat Harrison! They all take turns resting on it when the crate door is left open! Once Gunther outgrows the need for a divider in his “big boy” crate, I will definitely be a repeat customer! I just might have to order some smaller sizes for our three cats too! So far my blue heeler has yet to destroy this bed. For the longest my wife and myself thought we would never find him a bed but I think we finally got our solution. Thank you so much for your great product. Will be purchasing another bed if this one ever fails but we have our fingers crossed.

The quality of this bed it’s outstanding! I highly recommend it even though our 1 year old Great Dane has successfully chewed up the corner of the bed. He by no means has destroyed it like he does blankets and other beds. Hopefully he will grow out of it eventually. I haven’t started the process of getting it replaced yet but hoping it goes smoothly.
